Sean, Becky, Thanks for your prompt reply. I well remember the October conferences, but when I first attended in the late 70's they were in Bertchesgaden. My 1st tour in Augsburg, I was an enlisted Russian Voice Interceptor. We attended the Augsburg A/G Fellowship run by U.S. missionaries. When they left with no replacements, another E-6 (licensed A/G) and myself (E-6 licensed 4-Square) together ran the Fellowship till we PCSed. Anyway, back to the present. I don't expect you to go out of your way to see them. I just wondered at the proximity. My son-in-law is SGT Chris Hogan, a helicopter mechanic. My (step)daughter is Carrie Hogan. He's currently in a 5-week FTX preparing for Iraq. She's a nurse, but hasn't found a job yet. She has an orientation today or tomorrow as a volunteer. She's been there for about 2 months. He, about 4 or 5. Like most young people, I'd classify them as nonchalant about spiritual things. She may come back here for awhile when he leaves. I was in Augsburg '78-'81 (enlisted) and again '89-'92 (as a chaplain, minus the time in the Gulf). Thanks again.--Steven

Your photos evoke memories from when I was a chaplain (Foursquare) in the 1st Gulf War. If you're still in Germany now, do you know if there is an A/G chaplain at or near Ansbach? My daughter and her husband are stationed there now (actually at Katterbach). Thanks

RE: Rack

Brother Sean - yeah . . . but remember, everything on my chest represents knee injuries, back injuries, ankle injuries, etc. What did Solomon say, "Vanity, vanity" . . .

Very carefully / cautiously consider how your spend your youth / health. Until eternity, the Lord has entrusted us with ONE (1) physical body.

=)

Blessings!!

Yes, I was always impressed by the way you carried yourself, Sean. I believed then that God had great plans for you as a person and a minister/chaplain. I see now that you are realizing that.
Grace & peace.

Robin
